This like most of my other "original" recipes is a combination of best of recipes stolen from the internets. This chil while long in simmer time is the best I've ever made and would win the world's best title if it ever got entered at the World's fair.
Ingredients
Makes 9 servings
- 1lb Beef
- ½ lb Sausage
- 1 can beef broth
- 1st Dump
- 1T chile powder
- 1T Garlic powder
- 1T onion powder
- 2nd Dump
- 2T chile powder
- ½T paprika
- ½T cinnamon
- 1T brown sugar
- ½ can green chiles
- 1 med onion chopped
- 1 med green pepper chopped
- 1 can kidney beans rinsed
- 1 can diced tomato
- 1 8oz can hunts tomato sauce
- 1T worcestershire
Preparation
Brown meat w/ onion and pepper. drain
mix broth, tomato sauce, worcestershire, chiles, beans, and diced tomato. add meat and turn on heat. bring to a boil then reduce heat and add 1st dump. simmer 1 hr covered. add 2nd dump simmer 30-45 min uncovered.
