This doesn't need an ice cream maker or even stirring when it's being frozen.
Mostly thieved from a Nigella Lawson book, with amounts altered so they're easier to measure.
Ingredients
Makes 5 servings
- 600ml Double Cream (not the thick stuff and definitely not whipping)
- Juice of 3 or 4 limes
- 100g icing sugar
- 50ml (double shot) Tequila
- 50ml (double shot) Triple Sec
Preparation
Mix everything together and whisk until it thickens slightly - it takes about 30 seconds in a blender on the slowest speed (don't use a fast speed or it'll break the cream up).
Freeze for 6+ hours (no need to stir).
