A wonderful morning treat, or even for a relaxed, warm brunch. Goes perfect with some tea or coffee and a gentle glass of milk. Yum!
Ingredients
Makes 8 servings
- 2 dl of flour
- 3 dl. of milk
- 2 eggs
- ½ tea spoon of salt
- 1 tea spoon of maple syrup
- 1 tea spoon of vanilla extract/sugar
- 1 tea spoon of baking soda
- Utensils
- A whisk
- Bowl
- Frying pan
Preparation
1. Crack the eggs in and whisk all the ingredients (everything on the list above) together in the bowl until nice and smooth, then leave for at least 20 minutes to set.
2. Spoon the batter into a buttered frying pan. They should be about the size of a small platter. Turn them when bubbling on the top and have gone dry around the edges.
Serve with any kind of jam or stirred berries, is delicious with sour cream and strawberries, syrup or just a light sprinkle of sugar and lemon juice. Yum!
