Bread made with beer. A good way to use up questionable beer left in your garage or fridge that you don't want to drink.
Ingredients
Makes 0 servings
- 3 cups self-raising flour*
- 1/4 to 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 12 oz can beer (room temp)**
- *Note: All-purpose flour can be substituted for self-raising flour, but be sure to add 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt for each cup of flour (for a total of 4 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt in this recipe)
- **Lighter, crappy beer works better
Preparation
Mix everything together, bake at 350F for 1 hour in a greased loaf tin.
